Candle Burn Care Guide
FIRST LIGHT
The first burn is the most important. Allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges of the container (this usually takes 2-4 hours). This prevents tunneling and ensures an even burn throughout the life of your candle.
THE WICK
Each candle is finished with a natural maple wood wick.
Before every burn, trim the wick gently to maintain a steady flame and reduce smoke. A short wick encourages a clean burn and balanced fragrance diffusion.
If the flame appears low or uneven, extinguish the candle, allow it to cool, trim the wick, and relight.
THE BURN
Burn the candle in a calm environment, away from drafts.
Allow the fragrance to build gradually rather than rushing the experience. For best results, limit burn sessions to a maximum 4 hours at a time.
The flame should feel steady — present, not aggressive.
SAFETY TIPS
- Never leave a burning candle unattended
- Keep candles away from drafts, pets, and children
- Place on a heat-resistant surface
- Stop burning when 1/2 inch of wax remains
- Keep the wax pool free of debris
- Avoid moving the candle while lit or while the wax is still warm.
STORAGE
Store your candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the fragrance and prevent discolouration.
